In the framework of Ecosupport project “Friends of the Baltic” (coordinators in S. Petersburg) hosted the group of experts on energy efficiency from the Kymenlaakso University of applied Sciences. The group visited two educational institutions and selected pilot institution for a full energy audit in the autumn’14 with the participation of Finnish experts and students, and taking into account the experience of energy saving approaches in both countries.
During the visit, a group of Finnish experts got acquainted with the procedure of energy audit in Russia, with technology and the procedure for implementing plans for energy efficiency. The group visited kindergarten № 4 of Krasnogvardeisky district and the Palace of children's creativity "Voznesenskiy bridge", examining the buildings’ energy infrastructure, getting acquainted with the heating system and heat consumption, the state of electrical equipment and power consumption. Measurement and complex examination with the participation of Finnish experts and students are planned for autumn of this year and will be held in one pilot educational institution in St. Petersburg.
Integration of Finnish and Russian system of energy audit, which will help to use positive experience and avoid the drawbacks and gaps will be the result.
According to the results of autumn energy audit workgroup will make recommendations to improve the efficiency of the educational institution, the experience will be spread among all St. Petersburg ecosupporters.
